Wool Drying Basket

The original version of this basket was woven in plain weave to actually allow good air circulation to dry the wool.  This version is a lesson in twill or over two weaving, allowing us to create a solid bottom and sides.  By finishing this basket with bushel type handles and hardwood feet, we will create a great basket for large knitting projects or to hold magazines.  The weather this time of year is usually perfect in the Adirondacks so hopefully we can sit on the deck by the creek for this one day class at the Adirondack Folk School.  Follow the link for details and registration.  September 8, 2012  http://www.adirondackfolkschool.org/
